You have three ways to connect your UP mini 2 ES to PC or mobile devices, including USB, LAN and Wi-Fi.
For wire connection, UP mini 2 ES has two USB ports for cable and USB stick and one LAN port for Ethernet. You can find all these ports on the back of the machine.
1. USB Ports
The first USB Port is for USB cable connection.
A second USB port allows you to load sliced print tasks from a USB memory stick and launch the print job from the printer’s LCD touchscreen.
2. LAN Port
An newly added Ethernet socket allows you to connect your printer to a wired Local Area Network for maximum security.
To edit printer's Static IP Address on LCD screen, go to Configure -> click Network, and choose Ethernet.
Switch Static on in order to edit I.P, Mask., and Gate.
3. Wi-Fi
You can setup the printer's Wi-Fi from its LCD screen and software. Make sure your printer and PC are connecting to the same network, otherwise, software cannot find the printer.
To set up Wi-Fi, go to Config -> Click Network -> Switch on Wi-Fi, select Network Name to connect, then input password.
The UP mini 2 ES's Wi-Fi feature does not support 5 GHz connections yet.
