Temperature Tune

User could adjust the print temperature for particular entity. The range for adjustment is the +/-20C from the basic print temperature.

Adjustable entities:

  • Perimeter
  • infill
  • Support
  • Raft

 

Support Peel

Bond Strength(%): define the stickiness between part and support.

 

Extrude Scale

Extrusion scale of perimeter, value larger than 1 means increasing extrusion amount, value smaller than 1 means reducing extrusion.User could define the subset of of extrude scale settings, adjustable entities:

  • Perimeters
  • Inner Perimeter
  • Top
  • Bottom
  • Infill
  • Support
  • Jerk(not supported yet)
  • Raft Base
  • Raft

Speed Reduction

Slowest Speed: Slowest speed for slowing down short perimeters 

Short Perimeters: the value to determine whether to slow down as short perimeter

Minimum Layer Time: minimum time a layer must spend, so that to ensure enough cooling for small features.

First Layer Speed: Slow down the first layer speed for the print job, for improved first layer adhesion.

 

Other Options

Platform Preheat: preheat platform for maximum 15 minutes before printing. Print will start if target platform reach before 15 minutes.

Sleep: De-initialize the printer after the print job finishes.

    I cannot set print speed, customize material properties and many many printing options are still locked that cannot be customized in UpStudio 3. When will the software be updated. It make my Cetus2 almost useless.

    What is meant by "Jerk" ?

    I do not understand what Jerk is and why I would consider changing this variable?
